Admissions Information

The majority of children are admitted into the Nursery at Bishopsgate from the age of 3, but we are always happy to consider children for admission further up the school if there are places available.

The only restrictions we place on entry are those of number and the need to ensure that there is a match between school and child. We expect all Lower School children to progress to our Upper School, but the school reserves the right to refuse Upper School entry in the event of a child's behaviour or academic progress giving cause for concern.

How to Apply
Please contact us in the first instance if you would like to receive a copy of our prospectus. Further details are given under the 'Contact Us' tab on this page.
Prospective parents are encouraged to visit the school and meet the Headmaster, staff and pupils. We are always pleased to arrange appointments so that the school can be seen in action.
Parents of prospective pupils are welcome to request a taster day for their child before registering.
Once parents have decided they wish to proceed with an application for a place, they should complete a registration form (which can be found in the back of the prospectus) and return it to the school with a £100 registration fee. This holds a place until a final decision is made, usually two terms before entry, at which point a refundable Confirmation of Entry Deposit of £500 becomes due.
Should a particular year group be full, you may register you child on our Waiting List and we will contact you as soon as a place becomes available.
