Lower School

We welcome children from the age of 2 1/2 into our cosy Nursery. Our trained staff and well-equipped rooms ensure that each child is given the best possible start to life. There is a warm family atmosphere as we recognise how important it is for children to feel happy and secure. We place great emphasis on building a solid foundation of social skills and a love of learning to enable each child to settle confidently into school life. A wide variety of activities is on offer with plenty of opportunities for healthy outdoor learning.

Beyond Nursery, a class teacher remains at the core of your child's learning. Emphasis is placed on establishing a firm foundation in literacy and numeracy, but the curriculum is broad, with a range of educational visits planned to enrich and extend the children's learning and good use is made of our glorious grounds as a learning resource. The teaching of French, Music, PE, Singing and Dance is provided by specialist teachers.
