Key Stage 1

Children in Key Stage 1 belong to years 1 and 2. The move from Foundation is a natural transfer. The children take these moves in their stride and embrace each new year with confidence. Daily contact and closely working team of teaching staff contributes to these moves. Careful planning of the curriculum, continuous assessment and reporting, ensures that the needs of all our pupils are met


The curriculum in KS1 follows the guidelines of the National Curriculum but also strives to extend these.
